A Prayer to Cleanse My Heart

Heavenly Father, you are my wisdom

The All Powerful, you are my strength

Lord, I delight in your kingdom

Your boundaries surround me with no length

Father in Heaven, your goodness covers me

Your presence breathes peace into my home

You heal my loved ones even when I do not see

I kneel with confidence before your throne

You move close as my heart opens

My protector loves me, I’m his daughter

Gratitude swells because I am chosen

Cleanse my heart with your living water

Out of love, you listen to my prayers

Placing friends to redirect my focus

Your hand moves encouragers who care

Who pray for me when I’m broken

Resurrecting Power renews damage

Opens eyes and ears, softening hearts

Your presence offers safe passage

Convict me when my actions go off course

I’m ready to receive your word

The perfect gift designed for me

In my heart, godly desires you have stirred

Abide in me Christ, and I am free

Draw my loved ones close to you

Give them vision to see you clearly

May your love breakthrough

Strengthen to keep your commands fiercely

Take away my hurts

Heal my wounded heart

May your love overflow to my inner parts

Speak your words to give me a fresh start

Even when I grow old, may your words echo in my soul

In Jesus glorious name I pray, Amen.
